MIAX Options - Members Reminded to Evaluate the Potential Impact of Derived Orders Functionality on their Connectivity to MIAX
As previously announced in the January 24th Alert, MIAX Options Exchange is beginning the activation of Derived Order Handling Functionality. Derived orders will, depending on Complex Order activity, increase the bandwidth necessary to support the MIAX Order (MOR) Feed. All MOR subscribers should reevaluate their current connectivity to MIAX Options to ensure they have accounted for the potential new bandwidth demands. Firms currently utilizing 1Gb network connections for the MOR Feed could potentially experience gapping due to inadequate bandwidth on those connections.
