Associate Software Developer

Princeton , New Jersey

We are currently seeking an Associate Software Developer with QA automation experience to join a highly experienced software delivery team that provides cutting edge technology solutions supporting exchange middle and back office operations.  This person should be well-versed in automated testing solutions for various types of applications including user-interface, business intelligence, real-time transaction processing and middle-ware systems. 

Major responsibilities include:

  • Work with architects, other developers, and QA analysts to design and develop automated test suites for a set of business systems including trading, surveillance, clearing, business intelligence, finance and other complex business operational systems
  • Use and develop tools to quickly and effectively test products and improve MIAX's engineering processes
  • Proactively participate in the review process of the business requirements and functional specifications for the purpose of generating use cases for functional testing
  • Generate accurate and comprehensive test cases to test both the logical functional domain as well as the technical domain within the MIAX systems
  • Execute tests and identifying, reporting and troubleshooting issues
  • Produce automated test case success/failure reports for consumption by key stakeholders
  • At times, perform hands-on testing of user-interfaces and validating system behavior through application log and database mining
Organizational Structure

The Associate Software Developer will report directly to the Sr. VP of Business Systems Development.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Junit, Selenium, and Selenium WebDriver; Cucumber is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases; MySQL is a plus
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, and HTTP/S
  • Understanding of RESTful web services, HTTP/S protocol, and web communication standards
  • Experience with web-tier frameworks such as Angular and jQuery is a plus
  • Basic understanding of No-SQL databases
  • Basic proficiency in using Linux or UNIX
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, is a plus

UI/UX Developer

Princeton , New Jersey

We are seeking a UI/UX Developer with experience in web development, interface design, and proficiency in human interaction and usability. As a member of the Business Systems Development team, you will help set the design and user experience direction of the platform and participate in designing and implementing exchange systems that will directly support trading, surveillance, clearing, business intelligence, finance and other complex business operational systems.

Major responsiblities include:

  • Create responsive UI designs to support a variety of business applications
  • Implement web-tier components of applications utilizing industry leading technologies, standards, and best practices
  • Work with application architects and developers to integrate UI and backend components in coherent, performant, and secure ways
  • Enhance and maintain the corporate website
  • Participate in many aspects of SDLC, including: requirements gathering, design and prototyping, development, testing, and defect remediation (as it relates to UI components)

Qualifications
  • Experience in designing responsive, scalable web applications
  • Experience in creating digital graphics assets for web sites as well as UI mockups and wireframes
  • Experience in web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, or similar
  • Experience with styling, theming, and layout frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, HTML5 Boilerplate, or similar

Chief Information Security Officer

The CISO is responsible for information security, business continuity, and privacy for MIAX, including security architecture, and regulatory compliance. The CISO drives the overall vision of the Information Security program for MIAX, which includes responsibility for overall corporate security strategy, security architecture development, and overall operational security oversight. The scope of this role covers all information security technologies and services, including information and personal protection services, perimeter defenses, logical access control, and profile management of all employees, contractors and visitors. As the company’s senior information security officer, this person also has enterprise-level responsibility for all data/information security policies, standards, evaluations, roles, and corporate awareness.

Senior Network Security Architect

Princeton , New Jersey

Miami International Holdings is currently seeking candidates to apply for the position of Senior Network Security Architect. The Senior Network Security Architect is responsible for assuming a lead role in securing enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies and run-book procedures as well as mentoring team members.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with technical domain experts in other technology teams to evolve the established security reference architecture
  • Evaluating existing network security controls and recommending improvements
  • Design of new network security controls as required
  • Hands-on lead role defining reference architectures for new security product deployments and implementations
  • Evolving the operational framework for monitoring of the enterprise for security intrusions
  • Reporting on security related technical and operational incidents

Trading Operations Quality Assurance Analyst

PRINCETON , New Jersey
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Quality Assurance Analyst to join the MIAX Trading Operations Team.  This person must demonstrate experience leading and proactively participating in the end-to-end system testing process within a fast paced trading environment.  This person should also have the capacity to develop, author and troubleshoot comprehensive test scenarios which are validated against the testing system.

The Trading Operations team is responsible for all front line customer support.  Customer support includes client interface testing, connectivity procurement, system functionality, configurations and general trade support.  

In addition, the team is responsible for creating automated Quality Assurance testing scenarios to ensure adherence to the functional and non-functional requirements of the MIAX exchange Trading Systems.  

Main responsibilities include:
  • Leading and participating in the MIAX Quality Assurance program
  • Proactively participating in reviewing of business requirements for the purpose of developing test case scenarios that ensure complete test coverage of application functionality
  • Developing, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases that validate new features and releases
  • Creating traceability matrices that track MIAX software defects
  • Ensuring all software issues are reported and handled efficiently per the MIAX software defect remediation process
  • Participating in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology 
  • Performing application certification with external clients to ensure smooth transition of new features being enabled in the production environment
  • Communicating status efficiently and ensuring the team is on track for all manual testing
Organizational Structure

The Trading Operations Quality Assurance Analyst will report directly to the Vice President of Trading Operations and Listings.

Qualifications
  • Must have thorough knowledge of the Quality Assurance testing process and best practices
  • Experience with an automated testing platform in an integrated testing environment
  • Strong internal and external verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Must have demonstrated accomplishments in testing user-interface and transaction-processing systems
