MIAX PEARL - Minor Updates to the FIX Order Interface (FOI) and MIAX Express Orders (MEO) Interface Specifications

The MIAX PEARL Exchange has published minor updates to the following Interface Specifications to support Market Maker Self-Trade prevention at the firm level, pending SEC approval.

MIAX Express Orders (MEO) v1.2a:

  • Self-trade prevention description has been updated to expand it from MPID level to the firm level for Market Maker firms
FIX Order Interface (FOI) v1.1:
  • Added clarification that Market Maker orders receive Self-trade prevention at the firm level
Important Dates:
  • These updates will be available on PEARL Firm Test Bed 2 (FTB2) on July 16, 2018.
    • Other updates announced in the May 3rd Alert are currently available in the PEARL FTB2 environment
  • Production rollout of all updates are scheduled for the end of August, 2018. The specific date will be announced in a future Alert.
