MIAX Options - SPIKES Settlement Order Type Update
In support of the MIAX Options Exchange listing options on SPIKES™ (Ticker: SPIKE), a new time in force Settlement Auction Only (SAO) will be introduced. The new SAO time in force will be used for Index Settlement Auctions on settlement day only. Initially, the SAO time in force will be supported through the FIX Order Interface (FOI). The MIAX Express Order Interface (MEI) will introduce SAO eQuotes in the future pending SEC approval. Additional details can be found in the February 5, 2019 Alert.
Support for testing SPIKES™ options is available in the MIAX Options Firm Test Bed (FTB2) environment.
