MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL Corporate Action Alert: Rio Tinto plc (RIO)
Rio Tinto plc (RIO) has announced a Special Cash Dividend effective for Thursday, March 7, 2019. On that date, the current RIO option class will change to RIO1. The MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL Exchanges will not list RIO1 options. Therefore, no options on RIO will be available for trading on the MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL Exchanges on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Rio Tinto plc (RIO) will resume trading on the MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL Exchanges on Friday, March 8, 2019.
All GTC orders resting on the MIAX order books in RIO will be canceled at the close of business on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
