The MIAX Exchange Group is currently looking for an attorney to join the Office of General Counsel in its Princeton, NJ office. The attorney will provide legal advice and support to senior management and all departments within the organization, including the technology department, regulatory department, and business operations department.

Summary of Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal guidance regarding exchange, SEC, CFTC and FINRA rules
  • Providing legal guidance on crypto and other digital asset trading

Compliance Analyst

Princeton , New Jersey

The MIAX Exchange Group (“MIAX”) is currently looking for a team oriented Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Division.  As a member of the Compliance Team, the analyst will be a part of a highly collaborative environment, working closely with team members to assist in administering the compliance program at MIAX, with a focus on the equity and options markets.  The primary responsibility of the Compliance Team is to administer a compliance program that monitors the exchange trading systems for compliance with SEC and exchange rules and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with Regulatory, Technology and Operations on systems changes and potential systems issues
  • Assist with Regulation SCI initiatives, including reporting of SCI events and systems changes
  • Support the incident management process with regards to MIAX ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review, update and develop internal policies and procedures to identify potential areas to strengthen the compliance program 
  • Assist in the preparation of responses to regulatory inquiries, inspections and examinations

Human Resources and Immigration Specialist

The MIAX Exchange Group is currently looking for a human resources specialist with a focus on immigration matters to join the Legal and HR Teams in its Princeton, NJ office. This role will assist with all HR processes from hiring and on-boarding to training and employee development as well as support the immigration employment process. The HR and Immigration Specialist will closely coordinate with the Company’s Legal, HR and Finance teams, as well as its hiring managers.

Summary of Key responsibilities include:

  • Works with internal and external legal counsel to prepare petitions/applications and all processes in connection with various immigrant visas and green card.
  • Assists the HR Administrator with planning, developing and implementing policies, processes, training and initiatives to support the organization’s HR compliance and strategy needs.

Lead Quality Assurance Analyst

We are currently looking for a highly motivated hands-on Lead Quality Assurance Analyst with demonstrated experience in leading and proactively participating in the end to end system testing process within a fast paced trading environment. This person should be well-versed in leading automated testing efforts within the context of a continuous integration testing environment.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Leading the QA team by organizing, scheduling and managing the team assignments across business projects, QA process and infrastructure improvements
  • Reporting to and working with Trading Systems Development (TSD) Management in continually aligning the QA team with upcoming business goals
  • Leading and participating in the execution of the testing process in compliance with the MIAX Quality Assurance testing plan

Regulatory Counsel

We are currently looking for an attorney to join the regulatory team of the MIAX Exchange Group. The attorney will report directly to the CRO/CCO and provide guidance to the regulatory, membership and compliance teams. The attorney will interact and provide guidance to senior management, technology departments and business operations as needed. The attorney will also work closely with the Office of the General Counsel on various legal and regulatory projects.
