U.S. Options

The MIAX Options and MIAX PEARL Exchanges anticipate listing Weekly Short Term Option Series on the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) which will expire on Mondays. The Monday Weekly SPY option series are expected to begin trading on Friday, February 16, 2018. 

Key aspects include:

• SPY Monday option series to expire Weekly on any Monday of the month, other than one that coincides with a Quarterly Option Series or an Exchange holiday
• If the Monday Weekly SPY Expiration coincides with an Exchange holiday, the series will expire on the first business day immediately following that Monday
• Monday Weekly SPY option series will be listed on a Friday and include up to 5 expirations
• If Friday is not a business day, Monday Weekly SPY option series may be opened the first business day immediately following that Friday
• The minimum interval between strike prices for Monday Weekly SPY option series will be $0.50, the same as for current options within the Short Term Options Series Program
• Initial Monday Weekly SPY expiration dates are expected to be 2/26/2018, 3/05/2018, 3/12/2018, 3/19/2018 and 3/26/2018
