MIAX Options: Updates to Interface Specifications

MIAX Options Interface Specifications have been updated to support:

  • Functionality applicable to the trading of proprietary products such as SPIKES™
    • Support for Settlement Auction Only orders (SAO).
    • Support for the Liquidity Exposure Process (LEP).
  • Functionality applicable to the trading of all products:
    • Support for the Complex Liquidity Exposure Process (cLEP).
    • Support for sending the stock clearing account in the stock leg of a Complex stock-tied order.
The Interface Specification updates for subscribing firms include both required mandatory changes and optional changes. See attached PDF for more information.

Activation Dates:
  • The mandatory and optional changes will be activated on December 14, 2018, pending SEC Approval.
Support for testing the above changes is currently available in the MIAX Firm Test Bed (FTB2) environment.
