MIAX Emerald - Mock Trading Test Plan in Preparation for February 22nd Launch

As previously announced in the January 4, 2019 Alert, the MIAX Emerald (EMLD) Exchange will be conducting mock trading on Saturday, January 26th, February 2nd and 9th 2019.  

Test Day Timeline:

  • 0830 - Firms can connect to the MIAX Trading System, Order and Quote acceptance
  • 0925 - Live Quote Window will open
  • 0930 - Opening
  • 1300 - Closing
Test Day Details:
  • The MIAX EMLD industry mock trading testing will support all classes currently listed on MIAX Options & MIAX PEARL
    • The following symbols will be quoted across the board $0.05 (1,000) x $99.00 (1,000)
      • Cloud 1:    AAPL, AA
      • Cloud 2:    BAC, CAT
      • Cloud 3:    EBAY, FB
      • Cloud 4:    HD, GM
      • Cloud 5:    IWM, IEF
      • Cloud 6:    MSFT, NFLX
      • Cloud 7:    PCG, PBR
      • Cloud 8:    TSLA, SNAP
      • Cloud 9:    UVXY, VALE
      • Cloud 10:  WFC, WYNN
      • Cloud 11:  ZG, ZNGA
      • Cloud 12:  SPY
  • OPRA will be disseminating data produced by MIAX Emerald during Saturday testing using their Production channels.  Replay files with test data including the new MIAX Emerald Participant ID is available and disseminated Monday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM ET from the multicast Playback Test channels (not over Production channels).
  • Firms interested in receiving test data from OCC as a result of the weekend Industry Test windows will need to register with OCC one week prior to participation to ensure connectivity and proper data service setup.  OCC will be supporting testing out of OCC’s External Test 3 environment for each Industry window.  Trades input to MIAX EMLD during the weekend test window will be played into the environment each following Monday and data service will be created for registered entities.  To register with OCC for participation, please complete the test request form at the following link and indicate your request relates to MIAX Emerald Industry Testing - https://www.theocc.com/webapps/cert-test-services
