MIAX PEARL Equities - Announces the Publication of Interface Specifications and the Updated Connectivity Guide

Interface Specifications:
The MIAX PEARL Equities Exchange has released the following interface specifications: 

  • FIX Order Interface (FOI) – v1.1
    • FIX Order Entry - Supports order entry, single cancel, cancel/replace, and trade reports, busts, and corrections
    • FIX Drop -  Supports drop copy for orders, trades, busts, and corrections
  • MIAX Express Orders (MEO) – v1.1
    • Supports binary order entry, single cancel, mass cancel, modifications, trade notification, busts and corrections
  • Top of Market Feed (ToM) – v1.0.a
    • Publishes MIAX PEARL Equities BBO, trade reports, and updates related to symbols, system state and security trading status
  • Depth of Market Feed (DoM) – v1.0
    • Publishes all actionable orders on MIAX PEARL Equities order book, order updates, cancellations, trades; system updates related to symbol, system state and security trading status
  • ESesM – TCP – v1.0 
    • Defines session management for TCP connections to MIAX PEARL Equities market
  • MACH – v1.2d
    • Defines the handling of multicast transmission from MIAX PEARL Equities market
  • Port Attributes – v1.0
    • Defines the port attributes that member firms can configure on their FIX Order Interface (FOI) and MIAX Express Orders (MEO) ports
Connectivity Guide:
An updated MIAX Connectivity Guide has also been published which includes details specific to the MIAX PEARL Equities Exchange

Important Dates:
  • Firm Test Bed will be available in June 2020
  • Certification testing will be available in July 2020
  • Industry Mock Testing will be in August/September 2020
  • Targeted Go Live is in September 2020 (pending SEC approval)
